Okay so the sensor has been replaced but is the pcm still thinking the engine is cold and overfuelling it? Just because the sensor is new doesn't mean the circuit back to the pcm is okay. If the coolant sensor is left disconnectted does it stop overfuelling? Put a fuel pressure gauge on it as well and see if it's correct and not bleeding off!

Further Investigation: A rap on the computer with a screw driver seemed to change things (not better/worse). A trip to Pull-a-part and $10 later things are better. Replaced the computer, started fine, ran fine, drove 20 miles, (graded C). This morning started fine, ran fine, (upgraded to B). We'll see for the rest of the week. Thanks for your input

Final Summary: Car is running fine again, success ! as "Walt & Vern"(wrecking yard boys) say: All Cars run on used parts.
